MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Eastbound Route CC Right Lane CLOSED at 22nd Street in Ozark,

Where: Eastbound Route CC right lane CLOSED at 22nd Street in Ozark

When: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday, September 3

What: Crews will install a concrete barrier wall and remove the guardrail on the southeast corner of the Route CC and 22nd Street intersection. The lane closure will begin just west of the intersection and continue just to the east of the work zone. However, this lane closure will still allow traffic to travel in all directions with the help of the signalized intersection. This is part of the Christian County Route CC Intersection Improvements Project at 22nd Street in Ozark. Traffic Impacts:

  • Eastbound Route CC right lane CLOSED at 22nd Street in Ozark
  • Eastbound Route CC left lane Open at 22nd Street
  • Eastbound Route CC to southbound 22nd Street right turn lane Open
  • Northbound 22nd Street to eastbound Route CC traffic will use the Route CC left lane to go east
  • Northbound and southbound 22nd Street Open
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours planned.
  • Signs will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closures/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.

Project Information:

  • Contractor: Radmacher Brothers Excavating Co., Inc,  Pleasant Hill
  • The estimated project construction cost is $2.5 million.
  • The project is scheduled for completion in December 2026.
