(October 7, 2026) – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will repair and patch sections of three highways – MD 943 (Warren Road), MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) and MD 25 (Falls Road) -- in Baltimore County as soon as Tuesday night, October 13. Work is expected to be complete by late December, weather permitting.
Contractor crews will work overnights, 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Sundays -Thursdays with the potential for temporary lane closures and flagging operations. In case of inclement weather, paving work will continue the next possible weeknight. Motorists should plan for extra travel time within the work zones.
The project includes asphalt pavement patching and application of new pavement markings where needed at these locations:
- MD 943/Warren Road approach to I-83 from I-83 to Beaver Dam Road
- Cost: $364,000
- Start: As soon as Tuesday night, October 13
- MD 372 (Wilkens Avenue) from I-95 to the Baltimore City Line
- Cost: $352,000
- Start: As soon as Monday night, October 19
- MD 25 (Falls Road) from I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to MD 130 (Greenspring Valley Road
- Cost: $430,000
- Start: As soon as Sunday night, October 25
This work is part of a $2.4 million contract for paving State highways in Baltimore County; the contractor is Allan Myers MD Inc. of Fallston.
