Traffic Advisory - Edgewater Drive between Cousley Drive and Beeny Road Intermittent Lane Closure

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2026) – Edgewater Drive between Cousley Drive and Beeny Road will have intermittent lane closures 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct 30 for Lumos Fiber to install underground fiber.

Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.

The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
